More protected acres along the Wabash River in Tippecanoe County

NICHES added an important piece in our quest to protect the banks of the Wabash River from the Granville Bridge to Black Rock, adding 10 acres to the public trust on the downstream end of Wabash Bottoms this morning.

The property had served the Watkins family for last few decades, providing a place to relax and fish along the River.

Today it is open for all to wander, watch the bald eagles on their nest from dawn to dusk.
