Trail – Delphi to Portland Arch

Executive Director for NICHES Land Trust, Gus Nyberg, shares an update on our vision for a trail from Delphi to Portland Arch and how this vision fits into a greater plan for trails across Indiana.

Many organizations in our region have constructed trails for public use. NICHES, like many of the other organizations working to develop public spaces, has a vision to see these trails connected into one long system. The vision to connect the trails in and around Delphi, Indiana along Deer Creek and the Wabash River corridor to the trail system at Portland Arch, would involve a number of non-profits, county park departments, city park departments, the DNR, and a number of private landowners.
