Here’s some exciting news: you can triple your impact by making a gift or pledge to NICHES Land Trust’s Giving Tuesday campaign now through December 7!
Thanks to several generous community members, $60,000 in matching funds have been pledged – meaning every dollar you give will be matched with two more. Your support will go three times as far to protect vital habitats, care for our natural areas, and keep nature thriving for generations to come.
Why Your Support Matters
Because of people like you, NICHES Land Trust has protected nearly 5,000 acres of natural areas across west-central Indiana. Your generosity has ensured that forests, prairies, and wetlands—places where we walk, paddle, explore, and find peace—remain healthy and accessible for all.
Yet, there’s still more work to do. Every year, irreplaceable landscapes are lost to development and invasive species. Once these places disappear, they are gone forever, along with the chance for future generations to experience the wonder of nature close to home.
When you walk in the woods, rest beneath a shady tree, or watch your child discover a frog along a streambank, you’re reminded how deeply we are connected to the land. Protecting nature ensures these moments endure—for you, your children, and your grandchildren.
